Most organisations take a clinical, replicatory approach to managing this fundamental pillar but soon realise that they've either completely over-engineered their framework or grossly underestimated what is required. Our TrustedSource team consider the whole organisation, taking the complex business and data management challenges it’s faced with and translate them into simple, holistic, and sustainable solutions that generate value for the organisation, its’ partners, and its’ consumers, helping it to achieve its’ organisational purpose through rich trusted product content.
How we began
TrustedSource, an inspired consultancy born in a coffee shop on the East coast of South Africa, is the product of years of observing the efforts of single and multi-national companies wrestle with their data giants, and labouring with them as they attempt to master them. Extensively trained, and armed with experience – of success & failure – we set about crafting integrated solutions, together with the innovative coding powerhouse Blue Code. The underpinning objective of each of the solutions in our suite is to equip brand-owners with the means to consolidate and distribute basic and enhanced product content to partners, customers and consumers, in a format that meets local needs whilst aligning to global industry standards, and is commercially viable.
Up, up & away
What began as a Proof of Concept soon took flight and in 2020, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, we launched the enriched Product Content Portal for GS1 South Africa. Since then we have grown to serve clients in both South Africa and Europe, and our service offering has evolved to a suite of solutions that solve product content challenges and requirements throughout the data life cycle and value chain. Energised by our vision to help brand-owners access the power within their product data and reach the infinite possibilities it has the potential to unlock we continue to be forward-thinking in our design as we anticipate future hurdles to be overcome.
